A detached, whitewashed cottage in the hamlet of Ardubh on the Applecross peninsula, situated on a calm, sheltered natural harbour. It has a wave-swept shoreline with a pebble beach on one side and a sheltered bay on the other, and a bench at the rear positioned for watching sunsets over the Inner Sound, the Isle of Skye and Raasay.
Herons, oystercatchers and seagulls actively feed along the tidal bay, the rock pools and the seaweed beds, and the view is never quite the same twice.
